Hollywood Casino Tunica
Just 35 miles south of Memphis, TN, Hollywood Casino Tunica is your home for Tinseltown action and award-winning service. With 54,000 square feet of action-packed gaming, a 494-room luxury hotel and first-class restaurants, you'll discover a new level of gaming and entertainment. It is one of three casinos located in the "Casino Strip" area, along with Sam's Town Hotel and Gambling Hall Tunica and Resorts Casino Tunica.
The Hollywood Casino Tunica isn't actually in Tunica. The closest town is Robinsonville which boasts two streets, two banks, a gas station, a restaurant, a post office, a couple of apartment buildings, a golf course, and a couple of other small businesses. The Tunica town is a good 15 miles away.
There is no public transportation. Besides casino gift shops and the three casinos there isn't anything else in the way of shopping or entertaining yourself or kids.
If you want to get away from the casinos to visit the area renting a car is your best option. Avis has a part time station in the Tunica airport.
